Quicken Glass designs, fabricates, and installs custom glass for Bloomfield from our own Newark fab shop minutes away, backed by years of industry experience. We build frameless shower enclosures for pre-war Colonial bathrooms, glass railings for stairs and decks, vanity mirrors cut to size, and storefront systems for Bloomfield Center businesses. Tell us what you are planning and we will measure, quote, and build it without a middleman.
Bloomfield's building stock runs old: Colonials and Cape Cods in Brookdale, two-family homes off the Watsessing line, and brick storefronts around Bloomfield Center. Old construction means out-of-square openings, so we template each job to the actual opening rather than a nominal stock size. We also serve neighboring Clifton.
We fabricate frameless shower doors and enclosures from 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch tempered glass in hinged, sliding bypass, and inline panel layouts. Bloomfield's pre-war bathrooms are rarely square or plumb, which is why every enclosure is laser-measured and templated to the room, then cut and polished in our Newark shop rather than pulled from a nominal kit size.
Because we manufacture in-house, fabrication runs 5–7 business days instead of the 2–4 weeks most shops quote. Hardware is CRL, with hinges, clamps, and channels in chrome, matte black, or satin brass, and an EnduroShield coating is available as an upgrade for easier cleaning. Every enclosure is custom-quoted direct from the manufacturer, with no middleman markup.
Quicken Glass installs and repairs commercial storefront glass and door systems for retail, restaurant, and office frontage: tempered display windows, aluminum-framed entrances, and all-glass entry doors. We handle full replacements during renovations and single-lite repairs after damage, with each unit cut in our own shop to the exact opening. That keeps lead times short for storefronts around Bloomfield Center and along Bloomfield Avenue.
Our glass railing installation service covers interior stairs, lofts, and balcony edges as well as exterior decks and porches. Panels are tempered safety glass fabricated in-house, cut to follow the actual stair run rather than a standard kit dimension, which matters in the Bloomfield Green historic district where no two stair runs measure alike.
We install post-mounted, clamp-mounted, and base-channel systems with code-compliant hardware, indoors or out, keeping stairwells and deck sightlines open without a wall of balusters.
A glass wall partition separates a home office or den without cutting off daylight, which is the practical fix in Bloomfield's compact pre-war floor plans. We build fixed panels, framed and minimal-frame systems, and partitions with integrated glass doors, in clear, frosted, or textured glass. The same shop fabricates office partitions and conference-room walls for commercial suites, measured on site and installed by our own crew.
When a shower opening matches a standard size, a quality kit system is the faster route, and we install those too. Our glass shower door kit installation service covers framed and semi-frameless sliding and pivot kits: we verify the opening, set the header and tracks level, anchor the hardware, and seal every joint so the door glides and drains correctly.
We cut and polish mirrors in-house, so custom mirror installation and repair covers nearly any size: vanity and bathroom mirrors cut to the wall, full-wall panels for home gyms, and beveled or polished-edge decorative pieces. We also replace chipped or desilvered mirrors in Bloomfield homes, mounted with mechanical clips or mastic and hung level and secure.
Quicken Glass installs and repairs interior glass doors for homes, including French-style, pantry, and full-glass panel doors, along with all-glass entry doors for Bloomfield businesses. If an existing door has cracked, fogged, or dropped off its hinges or pivots, we fabricate matching replacement glass, rehang the door, and adjust the hardware so it closes cleanly. Every door is measured on site before fabrication.
When a storefront window or commercial glass door breaks, Quicken Glass answers any hour with 24/7 emergency commercial glass repair for Bloomfield storefronts, offices, and commercial properties. The crew boards or panels the opening first to secure the property and inventory, then fabricates replacement glass and installs it on an accelerated schedule. This is a commercial-only service.
Yes, we serve homeowners across Bloomfield, from Watsessing near the park and the Midtown-direct rail line to the Colonials and Cape Cods of Brookdale and the downtown blocks around Bloomfield Center. Each neighborhood has different housing stock and different glass needs, and our team adjusts the plan to fit yours.
